During 2022 I was commissioned by Cloud Nine Decor to Naturally Dye 80 meters of fabric to be made into festival flags surrounding the main stage at Lost Village Festival in Lincolnshire 2022.
The ingredients used were Madder and Weld, a combination and gradient of these to create a spectrum of colour that was inspired by the setting and rise of the sun.
These dye stuffs were specially chosen due to their colour fast qualities - being traditional dyes. They have more resilience towards the sunlight and being washed out by the rain.

90 pieces of clothing dyed in multiple dye baths, using foraged plants and vegetables from the land I am currently based on, or otherwise sourced from responsible dye suppliers in the UK.
Where plants can transform and become colour onto cloth. These are dyed using: Madder, Hawthorn, Onion, Indigo, Oak Galls and modifiers including Iron.
